Billy has an extremely high drive and competent working ability. He is a confident and quiet worker and has proven himself at cattle dog trials as well as on the ranch. Billy is good natured and enjoys the presence of people and is extremely biddable (trainable). As most Kelpies, he takes his job very seriously. As a proven sire his progeny continue to exhibit his tenacity and work ethics. Although Billy originates from Jumakola stock, he was born and raised with Roger Urricelqui, one of the top Kelpie breeders in the US; his pedigree reflects champion bloodlines.
